The mission of the revista científica de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud de la Universidad Católica de Asunción is to serve as a means of disseminating high-quality, scientifically rigorous research in the field of health, aligned with the values and ethical principles of Christian doctrine. JOURNAL VISION:
The vision of the scientific journal of the Faculty of Health Sciences of the Catholic University of Asunción is to become a national and international benchmark in the publication of high-quality research in the field of health sciences. We aspire to be an essential platform for the dissemination of innovative knowledge, promoting scientific advancement and the professional development of faculty, undergraduate and graduate students, and health professionals. Our goal is to significantly contribute to the improvement of public health and the strengthening of clinical practices through interdisciplinary collaboration and the integration of the latest scientific evidence while respecting ethical and Christian principles.
JOURNAL OBJECTIVES:
- To promote academic production by encouraging faculty and undergraduate and graduate students to produce and publish original research, reviews and updates, and case studies in the field of health sciences.
- To increase the number of scientific publications and improve the quality of academic production in the faculty.
- Improve critical analysis, methodology, and scientific communication skills among the academic community.
- Provide the academic and professional community with access to recent research, reviews, and articles of interest in the field of health.
- Keep faculty and students informed about the latest advances and trends in their areas of study and professional practice.
- Promote interdisciplinary collaboration and knowledge exchange between different areas of the health sciences and with other related disciplines.
- Create collaborative research networks and joint projects that enhance the quality and relevance of research.
- Support the continuing professional development of faculty and students by publishing articles that contribute to knowledge and practice in the field of health.
