The SCIENTIFIC JOURNAL SCIENCE, HEALTH AND SOCIETY is the scientific dissemination organ of the Faculty of Health Sciences at the Catholic University "Nuestra Señora de la Asunción," Guairá Campus, Villarrica-Paraguay. It offers 100% open access with no editorial processing charges. The journal aims to publish original and unpublished works of high academic standards on current topics, produced by national and international professionals in the fields of clinical medicine, biomedical research (application of biology and physiology to medicine), dentistry, nursing, nutrition, public health, microbiology, molecular biology, health biotechnology, and other areas related to health and human sciences.
