Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission file is in Word format, editable.
  • The quotes, references, tables and figures are based on the APA standard, seventh edition.
  • The submission has not been previously published nor has it been considered by anyone else in the magazine (or an explanation has been provided in the comments to the editor).
  • The text is interlined only; 12 points of size, Times New Roman. Cursive is used instead of sublined (except in URL directions); and all illustrations, figures and tables are placed in the appropriate places in the text, instead of at the end.
  • The text meets the basic structure required according to the type of submission of the article: title, summary, introduction, methodology (except for reflection articles), results, conclusion, references.

Author Guidelines

Artículos originales

Original articles correspond to research projects that have generated new knowledge and contributed to the field of study. Depending on the scientific field, they have applied fieldwork: experiments, surveys, interviews, observations, etc.

Artículos de revisión

This section offers bibliographical reviews that systematically compile, analyze, and synthesize previously published research on a specific topic. Unlike an original research article, it does not present new experimental data, but rather offers an overview of the current state of knowledge in an area, critically highlighting essential information. Its purpose is to evaluate the available information and can identify knowledge gaps and potential future lines of research.

Artículos de reflexión

This section may include papers that include a critical and personal analysis of a specific topic, based on the author's interpretation of previous research and sources. The focus is on subjective interpretation and analysis, although it is supported by solid theoretical foundations and original sources to support the arguments. This type of article seeks to contribute to the academic debate from a unique perspective, developing a novel thesis or interpretation.

Presentación

This section is reserved for the General Director of the Universidad Católica Unidad Pedagógica Carapeguá or the Editor of the Magazine. This is a space where the issue is presented, with its diverse themes, and current questions are addressed: from the world, from the country, from the Department, as well as from the institution.
